Key Issues
A Green New Deal
Scientists have been warning us that mankind has been the driving force behind climate change for 70 years. A Green New Deal means confronting climate change while rebuilding the middle class, lowering costs for families, and creating millions of good‑paying union jobs.
Women’s Rights
Women’s rights are fundamental human rights. True freedom means having control over your own body, equal protection under the law, ending violence against women, and a real voice in our democracy. We will defend women’s autonomy, protect access to the ballot, and stand up to right wing political efforts that roll back hard‑won rights.
Education
Education is the foundation of a strong democracy and a thriving economy. Every child—no matter their zip code—deserves a world-class public education, and every student should be able to pursue higher education without a lifetime of debt. We will raise standards, invest in schools, respect educators, and put students—not corporations and politics—first.
Workers Rights
Workers create the wealth of this country—and they deserve security, dignity, and time to live their lives. A strong economy is one where people are paid fairly, treated with respect, and protected from exploitation. We will modernize labor laws for the 21st century and put working people back at the center of our economy.
Single Payer Healthcare
Medicare for All means care without fear, choice of doctor, and dignity for every person. We can build a healthcare system that works for patients—not insurance companies—and finally deliver on the promise of healthcare as a human right.
Housing
Housing is a human right. Everyone deserves a safe, stable, and affordable place to live—regardless of income, background, or credit score. The housing crisis is not an accident; it is the result of decades of policy choices that treated homes as financial assets instead of places for people. We will bring down housing costs, rebuild public housing, and put people before profit.
The Trump Administration & ICE
Democracy does not disappear overnight. It is eroded—piece by piece—when leaders place themselves above the law, undermine independent institutions, and punish dissent. The Trump administration has repeatedly shown contempt for constitutional limits, democratic norms, and the rule of law. This is not politics as usual. It is an attempted fascist takeover that must be confronted directly.
